Councillor Carolyn Curr is a long-standing Conservative member of Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council and represents the Belmont Ward in Guisborough. She is Conservative group leader on the council and has been actively involved in local government for over two decades. Cllr Curr plays an integral role in shaping council policies, especially in areas related to corporate governance, finance and children in our care. She serves on various committees, including the Corporate Resources and Children and Families Scrutiny and Improvement Committees, Governance Committee and Corporate Parenting Board.
She is also a member of the South Tees Development Corporation Board, contributing to one of the UK's most significant economic regeneration projects aimed at driving industrial growth and creating jobs in the Tees Valley area.
