On Thursday 20th November 2025, voters in South Bank Ward went to the polls to elect their new councillor.
While the result wasn’t what we hoped for, our fantastic candidate, Richie Kerr-Morgan, ran a truly outstanding campaign - taking the fight to both Labour and Reform UK with energy, passion, and real dedication to the community.
South Bank has been one of Labour’s safest seats for over 50 years, never having elected a councillor from another party. Despite this, Richie worked tirelessly to give local residents a genuine alternative and represented both himself and our local Conservative team with real credit. We are incredibly proud of him, the positive campaign he led, and the conversations he started across the ward.
